The early morning sun shining through these red maple leaves (Acer rubrum) caught my attention.
The bright colors provided a great incentive to get out to the backyard. The cool air, brilliant leaves, and different textures and shades of green and gold were a great way to start the day.
I feel like I’m in your back yard enjoying the view with you. Excellent capture of light Betty! thank you so much.
Connie, thanks. I wish I could have shared the ‘real thing’ with you!
Thanks, Connie. It would have been great to share it with you.
WOW! That looks like a painting with artist being God! Thanks for sharing!
Christine, I appreciate your comment.I’m grateful for the opportunity to see and document such scenes as best I can. Sharing them increases my enjoyment.
Hello Betty,
I’ll say Amen to Connie and Christine’s comment on your stunning photo of those wonderful fall colours in your backyard, and yes, the light coming throughout the leaves is just glorious. Thank you indeed for sharing your wonderful pics!
Thanks, Pauline. I hope you’re still seeing some nice colors in Jersey.

Thanks, Linda. As I’m sure you know, sharing the garden with interested folks increases the enjoyment immensely.
I can see just a few remaining blackgum leaves, too. Your garden looks so beautiful and the glowing leaves are breathtaking.
Good eyes, Ann, to notice those blackgum (tupelo) leaves.
