We had a glorious sunrise last week. We recently celebrated the new year, but how often do we celebrate the beginning of a new day?
I was inspired to grab my small camera and quickly captured six images. Then I came inside, raised my coffee cup, and drank a toast to the beautiful sky and new day.
Gorgeous! So….is it true……red sky at morning, sailors take warning? ; )
Not so, in this case, Christine. Good to hear from you. Hope your new day and new year off to a good start.
So beautiful!! I also love the way you have framed the picture with tree branches at the upper corners. I am sure I can see patient leaf buds on the branches waiting for spring.
Thanks, Marsha. I hadn’t thought about it, but yes, there are patient leaf buds waiting for spring. Good eye!
I love to see comments from my dear friend, Marsha, up in Canada! Betty, I love the idea of celebrating the new day – an inspiring thought.
And I appreciate comments from both of you.
I’m impressed with those who are up so early. Look at what I miss. Thank you for showing me!
Evelyn, some of us are larks and some of us are owls. And there isn’t a sunrise like that every morning.
